So, I guess I'm doing the blog. I'm probably the last person to do the blog. We are reviewing the elements of plot and now we are reviewing "Nothing Gold Can Stay."Ghenet believes she is gold and Owen is now talking about his skin being gold or not. We are moving so fast I can barely keep up. There is dramatic music coming from Dr. Saxon's room or Mr. Greaney's room.Ghenet was really quiet. I thought she would have been louder, until now. For some reason we are talking about Obama. Ms. Nakada just said to take out our prep or workbook to work in our characters while she is collecting our book projects. Citlali just waved to me. Does she want me to write about her? I can hear Ghenet arguing with Ms. Nakada about the RJs. It just got louder and Ms. Nakada is telling us to be quiet. I'm so lonely being here by myself. Eli just came and asked me if I can put him in the blog. I am not a magican and you're probably going to be crushed by the words I'm writing down. Eli just came again asking if he can be in the blog. Eli, I am not a witch with vodoo magic. The class is now getting louder and Ms. Nakada is trrying to keep them quiet, keep on working hard, Ms. Nakada. Daniel and Citlali and Juan are now telling me to put them in the blog, again not a witch. Citlali just said she wants her name at least 5 times in the blog. CITLALI CITLALI CITLALI CITLALI CITLALI. Ghenet just sang, "He's sexy and he knows it." Is she talking about Juan? Every one is packing up. It's too LOUD!!! Owen just threathend me with a marker so he can read the blog. The bell rang bye~.

Book Projects Due Friday!!

        So I guess im the one that is doing the blog today :/ (thanks to Justin!) Well, I don't know what to write about. Right now Ms. Nakada told the class to be quiet and to take out their Na No Wri Mo packet. It is so quiet in the class, well except for Ghenet who keeps on talking. Ms. Nakada is asking for someone to share out who their model novel is. People are sharing out right now. I am so bored right now!!! There is like literally nothing to do up here! People are still sharing out. Ms. Nakada is know telling the class to think of a book that we don't really like. People are now sharing out what book they don't like. Hilory just said that she does not like Harry Potter! :o WHAT!?!? How can you not like Harry Potter!!! Eli just said that he does not like Julie of the Wolves and now everyone is talking about it. The class now has to fill out a list of what books they've really enjoyed to read. Everyone is talking about what books they like... Tishe is talking about how his mom made him watch Jeopardy? .......anyways... People are sharing out on what books that they really like. So the only thing that I am looking at is the picture of Mr. Hastings in a duck costume pretty disturbing but okay.... People are now talking and the only person I can hear is Ghenet (like always). I keep on seeing people walking through the hallway. Fredryck just came in the class.
      Ghenet keeps on saying Juan's name in a wierd way. So..... Shawn and Luca were just next to me but in front of the bookshelf looking for books I guess? Tatiana just whacked me with her tissue and now she is blowing her nose. I'm so bored right now the class is really quiet and the only thing I can hear is Dr. Saxon yelling at his class and Ghenet imitating him. We are about to get out of class! Yay!.... The bell just rang so bye byee!! :D

People are writing their English scores so its pretty quite except for Karina who is always talking. I noticed that Luka is pretty tall. Ms. Nakada mentions perfect paragraphs and I here Juan sigh. OMG why does this picture icon keep hopping!!! I'm looking at Mr. Hastings in a dress. (And he tries to yell at people). I hear Ghenet and people talking about scores. There is literally nothing to write about so........wait Anissa is making wierd noises. I'm not her best friend anymore (never was in the first place). Luka is making wierd ghost noises oooooooooooooooooooooo spooky. Faces :D :(  :)  : /  >:D >:(   Billie hit me :'( she keeps trying to see the BLOG. Well, no way girlfriend. Darian tells me to shut up as he goes to the restroom.  Eli sings "Teach me how to Dougie." He can try. Really novel writing month. Horrible idea. Who came up with it? Owen just assaulted me. We should write Conner  Haller a get well card. His eyes are messed up and he can barely see. Annisa is shooting me with her finger gun.
We talk about the Inner Editor who seems evil. Did anyone watch Paranormal Activity 3. It was awesome. I've seen Real Steel too. Why did the chicken hop across the road?................................................  
because KFC stole one leg because chicken legs are half off (any laughs?) Oh well. That joke was a fail I'm just bored. Me and Anissa are air fighting but were still not best friends. Ok the bell just rang. Good bye.

This is probably going to be the most random and boring blog ever. SOMEONE just had to pick me to do this blog. I've been avoiding doing this since the beginning of the school year. I have no idea what to write about. Ms. Nakada just let everyone go and upload their narratives on the computer if they needed to. Wow, the class is already very loud and Ms. Nakada sent everyone back to their seats. Ms. Nakada is whispering, and it's kinda creeping me out. I didn't want to write this blog. I have nothing to say. Some people are reading since they are done with their narratives, and others are on the comupter. Eli just came over and said my name in a weird voice. I didn't want to put him in this blog, but I couldn't think of anything else to write about. Yay, we almost have 10 points! I hope everyone comes to class for the next 4 days so we can have a party. Oh my gosh, I don't know what time this period is over. I really should memorize the schedule. Oh well. It's kind of annoying when people come up beside you and just watch what you're doing. Ok, well, that might not bother some people, but it makes me really mad for some reason. I'm just weird that way. The class is really quiet right now, I didn't think that was possible, especially with some of the people we have in this class, and I think you know who I'm talking about. I can't wait for the bell to ring...
Oh my gosh, I just got a great idea, and my friends are probably going to hate me for doing this but... There is an AWESOME after-school program called LEAP where UCLA students come here to Emerson and they give us free food and stuff. It's every Friday in room 205 (Mr. Oakes' room) and it starts a couple minutes after school. It's every Friday, oh, and if you come for the free food, you have to stay. But that doesn't make it any less fun. It's kind of like one of those....I forgot the name for them... But it's like a group where you can say anything about yourself and not feel judged about it. Or something like that. Blah. Every Friday, don't forget. Every. Single. Friday. Oh, and it's actually much better than I made it sound, just to let you know.

This blog is pretty long for a Friday.... Ew Eli keeps blowing his nose right next to Melody and I. Owen just came over and asked me a dumb question. Ghenet (probably spelled wrong) just told me to write about her cheek bones, and about how she said she liked my sweater. She's so random.
Eli has blown his nose at least 18 times already, and it's getting really annoying. I have to keep myself from hitting him. Ariel just erased his name from the board. I hear music coming from Mr. Greaneys class I think. I actually wish I were in that class right now. Oh, someone opened the door, it IS coming from Mr.Greaney's classroom. I think someone's phone just went off. I don't know whose though.
I have to keep glancing at the clock and keep my ears wide open for the bell, because I'm hungry and I want to get out of this class quickly. Hilory's walking around aimlessly. Now she just came over and said that Eli's crazy. Ghenet just said she likes my hair. I think she just wants to be in the blog.

The class is getting sort of loud. I don't like loud places. If someone were to put me in a room with a lamp, a chair and a book, I'd be fine sitting there for a few hours. Well, that was random. Ghenet asked me something about candy. Juan said that I am getting tired of Ghenet. I hate to say it, but he's right. :/ Ms. Nakada is going around checking Reading journals. Daniel just came over and told me to put him in the blog. There, I did it. The phone just rang! Eli is getting up every 5 seconds to blow his nose. if he keeps doing this, he's probably going to blow out some of his brain into the tissue. I should make a blog. I kind of like this now. I keep seeing people walk by in the halls. Wow, I never noticed how loud Mr. Greaney is. I think the bell is going to ring soon. I hope so. Oh people are packing up.  I should go pack up too. Bye!

This blog is going to be boring since I'm writing it. When I walked into class I already knew I was going to do the blog because I was told that I was over and over and I begged not to be chosen. Well, the bell rang and Hilory (<-- probably spelled wrong) read her blog and chose me to do it next as I already knew. So now Ms. Nakada is reading some weird story about somebody proposing to her with a box full of carrots. I wasn't really listening so I didn't hear the rest of the story. Daniel told me to put him in the blog. Now we are getting our alpha smarts to finish writing our personal narratives. Right now the only thing going on is people just talking and talking it gets annoying after a while though I hear a lot of random conversations in the front of the class which make no sense. Now everyones typing on their alpha smarts. Nothing to write on this blog at the moment so....Eli really likes the blog because he's in every single one. This time he is in it because he said my name in a freaky voice. Now everyone's saying bless you because people are sneezing. Now Ms. Nakada is talking about a writer submission form that we have to turn in with our personal narrative. Now I have nothing to write again.Everyones talking and I still have no idea what they are talking about between their conversations and the conversations of the other classrooms across from us. Well, I am done with my personal narrative now it needs a lot of editing. Nothing to write as usual but it turns out my original first draft had 1649 words and when I asked Ms. Nakada she said I could only have 700 words so I had to cut out a lot but most of what I cut out I didn't need which is good. Nothing to write as usual. I told you this would be boring and I hope the bell will ring soon. I can just imagine the bell going ring ring ring and everyone waiting to get out of their seats but right now that isn't happening. Eli yet again said my name in a creepy voice. How much attention does he want? I think he wants everyone to just write his name in the blog so he can be mentioned. Hilory told me to choose Mhyet next I probably mispelled both names though so. Eeveryones talking again so Owen is know threatening me with a pen and annoying me with a pen and he also told me to say Ms. Nakada's husband looks like Vinnie from Jersey Shore who I have no idea who that is because I don't watch that T.V. show. Then he randomly left and brought Eli and they talk about Ms. Nakada husband look like the guy from Jersey Shore. Eli said my name again in a creepy voice. Now Owen and Eli are talking about how they make the food at the cafeteria taste good. Juan wants to be in the blog so there he is in the blog now.  Luka wants me to talk about Eli being crazy so... Now everyone's huddling around me and everyone is talking about Jersey Shore. Now I am being bugged by a herd of people who are saying random things who have now left. Luka told me to say that Eli is crazy again. This blog is almost done as well as the class. Justin Brown wants me to put him into the blog. The class is over and the bell has rang good bye.

I thought I'd never have to do this blog. I have been avoiding it since the beginning of the school year, but thanks to BRIAN I'm sitting on this stool doing the blog. Well, at least it's early dismissal today which I guess is good news. The only thing cool about doing the blog is that  I don't have to do work. And Eli just came to blew his nose and he was leaving saying my name like if he is possessed or something. I think Eli is a science experiment gone wrong because he is always doing the awkward things. Okay, let me go on to what  to what's happening in class.

Well, the bell rang  and we got out  our binder reminders and wrote down the agenda. Then Brian got up in front of the class and read his blog.Then he chose me to this blog. Then Ms. Nakada was telling the class to draw a scene of narrative or something. I don't even know if she said that or not because I'm not listening that much. I mean what does she expect. I can't multi task at the same time. Then Eli and Hatcher well I think that's his name came here and Eli blew his nose AGAIN and Hatcher started saying something about it being abuse or I don't even know.Then Hatcher wrote his name on the board to go use the restroom or something. Billie just came and wrote her name on the board. I can hear Ghenet talking behind me and Anyssa starts tapping her fingers on a book. And then Justin comes up to me and says my name in this weird voice. Then Billie comes by says this is a long blog well of course this blog is going to be long. This class is always talking and then Eli is in this class which means he does weird stuff as usual. I seriously have never seen Eli act human which makes  me wonder if he's human or not, but then I think he's doing it for the attention. And Eli came again and said my name in that annoying possessed voice. Citlali is touching Juan's hair which totally not normal to me. Then Tatiana asks Juan what type of hair product he uses. Then class is leaving and I can hear Owen singing the song "She'll be coming around mountain when she comes" and Justin comes up singing and to put it on the blog .The bell just rang so peace out.

I never wanted to do this blog. Thanks a lot Billie for choosing me. Ms. Nakada just told the class to turn to page 9 of our notes. She said we have to write a 500 word personal narrative about a person who has had a significant impact on our life. The class is quiet. This blog is going to be super boring. For our personal narrative we have to identify a scene, choose P.O.V. and what tense it is in, use other devises like flashbacks, etc., and details to build tension. Eli is being a weirdo. He just poked me with something. He is blowing nose. Now he is hitting me. Eli is a big bully and I'm going to report him to the office. The class is getting their Alphasmarts. The class is laughing and talking. The class went into quiet mode. You could hear Mr. Greaney yelling from here. This is really boring, nothing is going on in class. They are typing on their Alphasmarts and the class is quiet. I was playing with the font and color and other things for this blog. You could hear little conversations going on in the class. I'm going to choose Hilory to do the next blog. Ghenet is talking about her wonderful cheek bones. Darian, Luis, Owen, and Tishe just read their 1st paragraph of their personal narrative. Myhet just asked me if I wrote about her. Well the bell just rang, so bye.

Thanks to Eli and Tatiana, Darian picked me to do the blog. I don't wanna to do this blog. Ms.Nakada is passing out the brown english books. We are talking about Maya Angeou and "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings". Ghenet keep talking to Juan. Eli just walked up and poked me with a pencil. Now Ms. Nakada is reading "I Know Why the Cagsd Bird Sings". People are laughing at the way Tishe is reading.

I'm so bored. All we are doing write now is taking turns reading the thingy.We talking about the setting of the story and the conflicts. Now we are reading again. Brandon's mom just came in the room and she's taking pictures of the class. The flash is so bright.

Now we are watching a video of Maya Angelou Saying her poem "And Still I Rise." When it turned on everyone laughed. Ghenet said really loudly that she sounds like a man.

Hi there neighbors. I did not want to do this blog today. I wanted be the very last person to do it but Shawn and Eli just had to mention my name. Since I have to do it then I am going to make it short. Ms. Nakada gave us some new seats as soon as we got in. We started watching this video about this Nigerian lady and she just starts talking about her life. I know Eli wants me to put him in this blog so hopefully he can later. I just looked back at Tishe and he just started smiling at me like a weirdo. I'm waiting for Eli or Tishe to make a funny comment. I look back and Eli just starts looking at me with a retarded face. We had a conversation about people being multi-racial and Eli said he has a big nose because he is Jewish. I think he's right. Brandon is trying to motivate me to write this blog. Hopefully his motivation works. I just saw Shawn cooking (the dance). Right now everybody is writing their summaries. Matthew looks very bored right now probably wishing that the class would be over. Allyn just hit me with a bag of highlighters and the highlighters fell onto the floor. I don't know what I did to her but sometimes I think she has problems. I just remembered this video that Tishe showed me it was called Epic Rap Battles of history with Mr. T and Mr. Rogers. That was a random statement. Ms. Nakada started talking about the Outsiders but I thought we were done reading that book. I just heard that another class' blog was called the giggitygiggitygogblog and last time I checked Quagmire doesn't go to our school. Eli said that best thing that happened to Sergio was getting a hairline and going to middle school. Ms. Nakada just told Ghenet to be quiet because everybody is quiet and she is just sitting there talking really loud. I wonder who I should pick to do the blog after I'm done doing it. Is class almost over because I am running out of stuff to write? Everybody is mad because Ms. Nakada just mentioned that we have to write a 30,000 word novel in November. Everybody is packing up and class is over. I have one last thing to say, DISMISSED.

Well, Tishe just finished reading his fabulous blog, then he chose me to do the this one -_- but whatever. It's all good though because it's TUESDAY meaning today is a short day! Whoop whoop! :D Well, any who... we're in the computer lab at the moment working on our essays about whether or not he'll stay gold (Ponyboy is so hot in the movie by the way ;D).

Eli wanted me to say it was rip on Owen day... I don't know what that's about but.. IT'S RIP ON OWEN DAY . (You're welcome Eli(: ) Omg, Ghenet just came to me asking for me to help her highlight -.- Who doesn't know how to highlight ! MWAHA >:D   <-- That's my evil face .

I am like... really bored right now. Nothing is happening at the moment. Ghenet is like in my ear bugging me about writing about her . UUUUGGGGGGHHH WHERE IS ALL THE EXCITEMENT IN THIS CLASS. Hold on, I'm going to look around the class to see what people are doing . . . .

Nobody is doing anything worth blogging about except typing and printing and have little side convos that I don't think I should post on this thing... :/ Well, at least I'm not working on my essay, even though I guess I should huh? I spy with my little eye.... Ms. Nagle :D boo, she just left though. She was my favorite teacher last year. I got an A in her class x) whoopitie whoop ! Someone do something interesting so I could write a blog about today ! *yawn* I swear, I'm about to fall asleep .

Now all of a sudden, Ms. Nakada starting saying something about the school news paper, which somehow led into a discussion about football or basketball (or whatever sport Eli, Owen, Darian and Shawn are talking about :P )

Can you believe it ? It's almost Halloween :D I think I might be going to Knott's Scary Farm or something. Random comment, I know but there's really nothing to talk about . Well, there probably is but I'm not listening into people's convos... because that's rude x) .

Luka and Jaun are fighting with their elbows ? Well, at least that's what I think I saw. I need a quarter so someone could buy me a pop tart. Random statement, but I'm really bored. I really don't know what to do, so here I go. We filed into the computer lab, and i hit something and got burned by Ms. Nakada. We sat down and wrote the agenda, and continued to work on the summaries. Eli is talking too much, but I don't want to him to be in the blog. All I see is microsoft word, and its not pretty. Brandon's Mom is taking so many phtos and the flash is so ANNOYING, OOH MY GAWD. Everyone is looking at my blog, Juan, Darian, Erick, Brandon's Mom, and Owen. Sergio is looking at me with a creepy smile, what is going to happen? SO MUCH TALKING, _--. I see blue uniforms out the door, and hear Morrison's voice, no comment. Owen is so clueless Ms. Nakada is talking to him like he's mentally slow. I have to go get my essay, with a flash drive.  Be back in a little bit. :3. *Facepalm* the user was not on nakadan. Citlali plays video games, wow, thought she was a quiet, read-a-book all the time person :P. Karina talking Erick never wearing pants. What is that beeping sound??? Juan is criticizing my blog, HOW ABOUT I DO THAT TO YOU? How you like me now? Owen  is talking about my name, Tushi. Sounds like sushi. Eh. When the bell rang, Matthew read his blog and I was picked to do the blog! It was ok with me doing the blog! Ms. Nakada is talking about writer's workshop right now! She is talking about how to concentrate in writer's workshop. Now she is going to read her draft on the Reponse to Literature Essay that she wrote. She believes Ponyboy will stay gold. She is still reading her draft. Now she is done. She said that your essay should be 500 words! Wow that's a lot but I think I can do that! Now everybody is getting their alphasmart and trying to finish the essay! Wow Owen is singing Fireworks. Sergio just dropped his alphasmart. Ms. Nakada said our drafts should be ready by Monday! Everybody is working on the essay! It's kind of quiet! All I hear is keyboards. Matthew's alphasmart just died so now Ms. Nakada is putting batteries in it. Now it works. Everybody is still writing their essay's. Wow i like when its quiet! While people are working on the essay Ms. Nakada put the sound of thunder so people can concentrate. It makes you very calim. Its been about 10 minutes that we are working on the essay. Ms. Nakada said you need to write the essay in present tense. I wonder when she is going to check the reading journals! Sergio told Ms. Nakada that everybody is her today but he was wrong three people were absant. She is now collecting the alphasmart and plugging them in the charger. The class starts talking! Don't forget to finish your essay on Response to Literature! The bell just rang! Hope you liked my blog. Bye. :)

HW RJ 5.1-5.5 due tomorrow!

Aaah its a long period today. Thanks Helena, I really wanted to do this blog. Sike! The first thing I hear is Eli telling me to a put I'm his best friend. He's just my clueless friend. I then hear everyone talking about Sergio and his girlfriend, Rocio. It makes me think that all the girls are jealous because they can't be with Sergio. Especially Karina! Ms. Nakada starts to pass out the back the quiz and correct it. Sergio is bragging about his grade when I think Tatianna shuts him up with her 29/30.

The class is grading the quiz. Sergio has a lot of questions for Ms. Nakada. Right now the only I can hear is Sergio because he keeps talking. Karina right now is trying to have a conversation from across the room. We start to go over the perfect paragraph and see how they hightlighted it. I hear Eli say this highlighting is the worst. The class is passing back the quiz, but this would have been a mistake because even I know that the class will use passin back papers as an excuse to talk to their friends. Then I hear Kian  and laughing really hard about Tom's quiz. Then I hear Luca make a really weird noise.  Now Eli is tappin my head which is really annoying me. I was about to hurt Eli but since be suffers cluelessness, I won't make him suffer brain damage.

Now I hearing that Ms. Nakada talking about retaking the quiz to try to get a better grade. Sergio now has a theme song that is all about how him have swagger.  The people who didn't want/have to do their make ups would either finish their prewrite or start drafting on paper or on an alphasmart. Darian was telling "Ms. Nakada" he was finished and accidentally said Ms. Nagle again. Ms. Nakada put up the prompt to help clueless or people that need help like Eli. Then Eli started complain about how work we had to do. We started to review the response to literature. Now everyone's starting to work. Then Owen comes with dumb joke out of nowhere and call alphasmarts, alfalfasmarts.

Ms. Nakada also helps the class get started on the essay. In my essay I think Ponyboy will stay gold. Some people may think different but thats my opinion. I'm not even close to done. In relief Ms. Nakada made the project do on Monday. It for today, peace.

Essay: Response to Lit

HW: RJ 5.2 - 5.4

Well, I guess I am doing the blog today thanks to Erick.Yay, I just remembered we get out early today! We start the class today with writing notes about response to literature. Ms. Nakada says to show comprehension of the text and to have a clear thesis. Ms.Nakada tells the class we are going to begin writing a five paragraph essay right now. Everyone is surprised, I guess.

I don't feel well today. I want to go home ): Now we are starting to talk about cough drops. Ms. Jacobson had some last year that tasted pretty gross. I also just heard that Ms. Jacobson shot Eden in the eye with a rubberband last year. I dont remember that. Now we are talking about Wheel of Fortune; I dont know how we got to that subject.

Ms. Nakada is talking about the prompt of the essay we are about to write. Eli just came out of no where and said hi to me in a creepy voice. Anyways, everyone is prewriting their essays. I guess I will do mine later. Sergio is calling my blog a fail because he's not in it. That's mean, haha. The class is talking about how they get Ms. Nakada and Ms. Nagle mixed up. Well, everyone is packing up. Class is over. Bye!

I thought I would never have to do the blog -__- (thank you Natalie).  Well, we started on our poetry in Cornell notes. We learned about rhyme schemes: a pattern of words that rhyme. Two lines that rhyme are called  couplet: AA>BB>CC ect. I'm lost we went from talk about leaves to talking about tragedies o_O. Oh, great were back to the seasons and leaves. Hmm we have to learn to be deep... I need help from Sergio. Wow, Eli is having trouble pronouncing the word Socratic. Okay well we are starting the Socratic Seminar, but all I hear is Owen talking about a grandpa. Okay, now every one is starting to participate and just saying which characters are gold. I say it's Johnny because even though he was dying he would do it again because the kids had more to live for than him. I like Tishe's point, he said, "To be gold you must be true to yourself." Okay class is over.
