Oh my gosh I didn't want to do the blog. I curse you Hilory. This is all your fault. I'll get you back for this. The class is already loud, Owen is a boss. <- that is a lie. Owen is going to be a second Greg Mortenson when he grows up. The class is supossed to be reading, but everyone is talking across the room. Haha Luis just tripped. I don't know what to write about. La la la. I can't wait until LEAP. La la la. I got an easel for Christmas. I'm writing all these random comments because I can't think of anything else. I don't like reading the blog in front of the class. It's scary. I have a DEATHLY fear of speaking in front of large crowds. I hear so many people saying "shhhhh" behind me, and it's getting annoying. I can hear the people in Mr. Greaney's class yelling. He can't control kids, ha ha ha.
This blog is so random. I have to look around the room to find things worth writing about.......... Everyone is reading, that's no fun. I'm glad Im doing the blog, otherwise I'd be sitting in my seat next to Hilory. Just kidding. Kind of :\.
Mr. Hastings looks so gangster as a duck. All of these pictures are cool. OMG LOOK AT THE DOG. It's so cute. I want that dog. I deserve that dog. Mr. Hastings makes a disturbing lady. I should stop talking abut the pictures now. Hey, the class is talking, now I can find interesting things to talk about for once. Tishe is talking about the Hunger Games. I want to see that movie. Ew, people are reading Three Cups of Tea. I don't like the book. I don't see why we need to keep reading it, it's just filled with LIES. and more LIES. My arms hurt already from typing so awkwardly on this laptop.
Omg. We have 9 points one more and we get a party. Why oh why can't everyone show up for this class? Am I the only one who wants a party?
People are talking abut the Bernie. That dance is so stupid, but I love it. I showed my mom the bernie and when she tried to do it, she fell, knocked over the lamp, and the computer. It was hilarious. I hit my head laughing at her. Then my Doberman jumped on her. Is this blog too long? Probably. Oh well. I just noticed the tissue box has Cars on it. Omg the paper on the board says 'A 20,000 words= 666 words a day.' 666? I'd take that paper down. Mr Greaney is so loud, I don't like him. whenever he yells, he says "WHAT. IS THE PROBLEM HERE?!" or, "IS THERE A PROBLEM? HERE? HUH?" He scares me.
I should try to memorize the schedule, because I don't know what time we get out of this class. Brian told me we get out at 10:28. Omg thats like 15 minutes. Such a long time.
My legs are sore from running the mile yesterday. And we have to run today, too? That's some walrus.
Brandon's reading Catching Fire. ... Yeah. Daniel is reading The Last Olympian. People tell me the the Percy Jackson series is cool, but personally, I think just one book was enough. People tell me the same thing about the Megaman game. But I've never played that, and people make me feel bad when they're like "YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED MEGAMAN OMG HAVE U BEEN LIVING UNDER A ROCK"
It makes me want to live under a rock.
The class. Is so. Quiet.
omg 8 more minutes. The picture of the lady and two kids on the chalkboard is so depressing. Why do people blow their nose and then look at it? Ew. The thing with googley eyes on the board by the pictures is creepy but cute at the same time.

Hw:RJ 14.1-14.5 & Book Projects due Friday
Hilory chose me for the BLOG, well sucks for you because I wanted to get it over with.We are discussing Three Cups of Tea. I need to find my book.WHY IS IT SO COLD? Ghenet and Tishe are having a sort of argument.............Today it is quiet...............Daniel is making faces at me so :( :) :D ;) :p :o >:O to you buddy. How long does it take to make tea? I dont like tea. I have to take notes too ahhhhhhhhhhhh brb......The baby's first words:UCLA(compliments to Tishe). I hear people talking about how whack Mr. Escejada's teaching regiment is. We are reading and basically Greg is a first class LIAR.Tishe reads and well you know how that goes. Prostitutes? Come on ppl. Is this a Viagra commercial. No its for some old ppl drug. Speaker Fail. Tishe commanded me to write the BLOG so here. It's confirmed Greg Morteson is a liar. He got caught holding a AK-47 with his so called kidnappers. Greg's family holds AKs. We talked about tupac for a split second. Billie would rather die than loose her hair. YAWN. I'm tired.......ok c u l8r bye.

Three Cups of Tea
HW: RJ 14.2 to page 146
I did not want to do this blog today but Shawn had to pick me. So, we got to class and Ms. Nakada assigned us new seats except for me. I've been seating in the same seat for the third time in a row. Well, I'm not complaining about it. So, back to class. We started writing down our agenda. Then Shawn read his blog. Ms. Nakada said to take out your english notebook out. Then I could hear Owen saying something about the baby falling out then Eli said he almost killed his mom or something. I also can hear Billie talking in back. Ms. Nakada asked what happened in the chapter. To be honest this is the most boring book I've ever read. I literally fell asleep once trying to read the book. I would rather be reading the Twilight Saga and I am not a big fan of that series. I've seen all the movies and to me they all sucked. Thank god they made a movie making fun of Twilight. I still can't believe we are back in school. I was hoping this day would never come, but it's here. Oh well. I guess I have to deal with it. Ms. Nakada is reading part of the chapter and when she's done she asks the class what it was about. I don't even know what chapter they are reading because I'm not paying attenion and I don't feel like it the book is boring anyways. Owen part of the chapter. Then Tishe started reading. I mean, seriously, he should be in drama but he's not. Brandon just started reding then some kid in the front I don't even know, then............well you get the point. Then Brandon said something about Greg taking a chill pill. Owen asked how Greg would know how to build a school. That question has passed through my mind a few times. I just heard someone scream from the hall. Not a shocker. There's always someone screaming in the hall like they're experiencing the movie SAW or something. Well, there's nothing else I could think of writing about the class is so quiet today. It's like a miracle sent from heaven. I seen that Ghenet and Anissa are sitting next to each other. Bad sign. Daniel said he wants to be in the blog. Well the bell is about to ring so bye.

New Years Goals/ Wishes

HW RJ 14.1
So we walk into class and everybody is loud. Well, what do you expect? It's the first day back! Also, Ms. Nakada has her famous Ducks shirt on and necklace. Now Ms. Nakada is telling everybody to watch out for Owen and his pink eye. OMG how did he get pink eye?? That's what he does on his personal time I guess lol. Ok now we are talking about colleges and final exams. Now we are doing our English notebook and finishing out cornell notes on "the gift of words." Wait what? Oh the gift of words the poem sheet. Allyn says some random pattern of words AABBABAABB or something like that. I'm not going to say it's boring here but I'll just say it's extremely quiet... Yeah, that's good. Kion is talking and he got caught. He was talking almost louder then Tishe when he went to Mr. Greaney's room. Oh Ms. Nakada said that the Robert Frost Poem was used for a car commercial. Justin just called my name and told me to put him in the blog so I guess I kind of have to now, sadly :(.
Now Sergio is staring into space while Ms. Nakada is talking about our New Year's goals and wishes. I don't really have a new goal because last year was good for me so I'll just do the same thing :/. She asked what is the difference between a goal and a wish. Tishe says a wish is something that you're too lazy to try to do and a goal is something that has better chances of happening. Now we are on wishes. Allyn asks what a GPA is and Ms. Nakada explains and Eli tries to show off and says out loud, "It's what percentage you get when you divide it by 6." Idk if thats true but I'll let him have that one for now. Now we are back on wishes and Alene says she wishes to go to Mexico and Owen says to live on a mansion on Malibu...he said that same thing at 1st period science lol. Now we are talking about if Ms. Nakada's baby will come out ugly...no comment. Eli tries to get a tissue and he gets caught and wipes his nasty, germy, boogery hands on my head:(. I'll get him back. Don't worry, but by the time I read this I'll probably have done it already. I'm pretty sure he remembers the last time Darian and me got him back but this will be worse.
Anyways, now we are reading Three Cups of Tea. Somebody asked what happened and the name of the chapter is called building bridges so what do you think it is?? lol Matthew is doing like this funny shoulder thing. Karina is bragging about how she's wearing suspenders. Darian and Luka look jealous but I can't tell. Oh, that's the bell. I got to go so I'll just...bye!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEST FRIEND GHENET!!!!! <3 <3 <3 She's 14! Whoot whoot:D I can't believe she's older then me by 6 days-__- Anyway.. Good morning people of period 2. I was picked to do the blog by Matthew, after he constantly picked on me in his blog. :c But I'm not going to complain because it's a minumum day today!!! Winter break will start at 12:35 !
Luka just came over to me and poked my head , _- then Sergio came to sharpen his pencil and started singing his screamo stuff -___- that music makes me uncomfortable. :P
Ms. Nakada handed me a sheet of paper with a poem written by Robert Frost called Good Hours that she also handed out all the other students which I guess means I have to follow along too___- so brb.............. Nah, I'll get the information later. Right now, Tishe is reading the poem with his amazing voice :D He makes everything sound better & dramatic!! Darian said he sounds like a narrator from a holiday special. Everyone applauded Tishe and his amazing reading skills.
Now Ms. Nakada asked people what they noticed in the poem and Eli said "rhymes" now they are writing cornell notes about the poem. It was beautiful. It read:
I had for my winter evening walk-
No one at all with whom to talk,
But I had the cottages in a row
Up to their shining eyes in snow.....
That's the first paragraph thing but I don't feel like writing the rest down, :/ Basically the whole poem is about Robert walking like a loner because he didn't want to go to the party, then he turns around from his walk to go back to the party but it ended :P Sucks for him. He should've gone to the party in the first place. The party ended at 10:00, which is when parties usually start getting FUN, not end__-
There's another little poem by Robert on the back of the paper & Shawn was the next to read it. In a boring, non exciting voice.... The poem, Shopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening:
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His House is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with now...
Now Ms. Nakada was mentioning how the rhyme sequence in the second poem was different than the one in the first... Everyone started talking about Dec. 21 and the world is going to end on that day in 2012. That day is RIGHT before my birthday D: I won't be able to turn 15 next year!!!!!!!!!!;o But I'm turning 14 in 6 days!:D ,well.. when I'm reading this I'll already be 14, teehee... I feel so OLD!

Winter Haiku

HW Projects due tomorrow
Now I have to do the blog. Helena has chosen me twice to do them and both on a block day. Ms. Nakada was going to congratulate the the AR winners with prizes. Some people got prizes some didn't. The most surprising thing I heard was Juan being above 325,000 words. But was at one million. After we awarded all the prizes Owen got all worked up because he didn't have his name said as being over one million words. Owen it's not a big deal, you don't have to whine about it. Tishe came over and said do your blog in a really weird deep voice.
Anissa had stepped on my pants before class and got a big foot print on me. Thanks Anisa. We started to work on doing a haiku. Some knew how to do it and some were still clueless. As always Ghenett was talking to someone from across the room. Tishe came over again and LOOKED AT ME VERY WEIRDLY. Juan does not know that that the haiku has tol be about winter. Hello, Juan. Can you read? It says winter haiku. Everyone's talking about how Elijah gets presents for Hanukkah. Luka was told by Ms. Nakada that he was supposed to write a 3 haikus and hasn't even written one. Anisa is being a big weirdo and is....... I can't describe it.
Tishe had a funny haiku. I only heard the first two lines. "Haiku are easy. Screw nature I like bacon." Then Shawn came out with the most beautiful poem ever heard. Almost brought a tear to my eye. Anisa is being a big hater and said Shawn could never come up with a poem like that. We are moving on but wait Tishe wans to do another poem. Let me repeat: "WHAT IS THAT MY FRIENDS, SQUIRRELS WRESTLING OVER NUTS. I WANT TO SEE MORE." MS. NAKADA BURST OUT WITH LAUGHTER.
Then I see Karina a.k.a. my wife dancing and singing. In my opinion I think she is dreaming of being on Broadway or something like that. Anissa kept saying my name. I finally said the most important word. Hi. That really irritated me by wasting my time. Anissa told me her first line. It was pretty good but not as good as Shawn's haiku. Ms. Nakada was walking pretty fast out the door. I overheard Allyn say that pregnant ladies have it hard. She's started to think more ever since eighth grade started. Not like in sixth and seventh grade. In those grades she was on the of the most lazy people I know. Anissa is all happy today for some reason.
Everyone starts working on High School Research Project. I 'm probably going to go to Uni or Palisades. I want to go to Fairfax, but I don't think that will happen. Everyone starting to talk. Ms. Nakada quiets everyone down. I'm going to start working in on my project and take a break on the blog.
I'm back. I got a lot of things covered on my high school research project.
Well, the bell's about to ring.

So I guess I am doing the blog today! Thanks Erick for picking me once again. At least it's a short day, so I don't have to write much :P Ghenet just asked Ms. Nakada if we are going to switch seats after we come back from Winter Break, and everyone starts whining. Oh my gosh, Ms. Nakada just opened the door and its now FREEZING in here. Brr...my jacket doesn't really keep me that warm. Thanks Natalie for telling me my jacket is cute (:
Now we are starting to write notes on Presenting Research Findings. I wonder who I am going to pick to do the blog next. Probably, Matthew. There isn't much to write about right now. Now the class is randomly talking about highlighters. Ms .Nakada was talking about the ethnic percentage of Venice High School. The class is talking about Venice's mascot. It's a gondolier; someone just asked if that was Russian. Haha.
Now Ms. Nakada is talking about how to write the Bibliography and the Conclusion for the research project. Class is almost over, and Eli hasn't walked up to blow his nose yet. I'm surprised. Oh, I think I just heard that we are going to the computer lab on Thursday. Yay!
Ms. Nakada is now passing out candy canes! The class is packing up so I guess the bell is about to ring! Well, bye! (:
